Micah Collier, bandleader, composer, electric and acoustic bassist born and raised in Chicago, has been involved with the Jazz Institute of Chicago, alumni of the Jazz Links Student Council, Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (A.A.C.M), Hyde Park Jazz Society among many other organizations in the Chicago area.


Micah has had the pleasure to work with world-renowned musicians such as Vincent Davis, Ernest Dawkins Kahil El' Zabar, Corey Wilkes, Marquis Hill, Charles Heath, Robert Irving III, Lewis Nash, Pharez Whitted, Terrell Stafford,  Orrin Evans, Cyrille Aimee and many more.

Micah had the honor of playing at many festivals such as the Monterey Jazz Fest, Silver Room Block Party, Taste of Chicago, Detroit Jazz Fest, Hyde Park Jazz Fest, Englewood Jazz Fest along with leading his band at the 2019 Chicago Jazz Festival.
